Rachel Maddow

Rachel MaddowRachel Maddow hosts msnbc’s “The Rachel Maddow Show,” featuring Maddow’s take on the biggest stories of the day, political and otherwise, including lively debate with guests from all sides of the issues, in-depth analysis and stories no other shows in cable news will cover.  Maddow also continues to host “The Rachel Maddow Show” on Air America.

In January of 2008, Maddow was named an msnbc political analyst; she is a regular panelist on msnbc’s “Race for the White House with David Gregory” and a frequent contributor on “Countdown with Keith Olbermann.” She has been the regular guest host for "Countdown," has filled in for David Gregory on "Race," and has been a regular panelist on msnbc's 2008 election coverage.

Chris Matthews

Chris MatthewsChris Matthews hosts “Hardball with Chris Matthews,” Monday through Friday on msnbc (5 and 7 PM EST).  Matthews is also the host of “The Chris Matthews Show,” a syndicated weekly news program produced by NBC News and distributed by NBC Universal Television Distribution.  Mr. Matthews is a regular commentator on NBC’s “Today" show.

 

 

Dylan Ratigan

Dylan RatiganVeteran journalist and television host Dylan Ratigan anchors “The Dylan Ratigan Show,” weekdays, 4-5 p.m. ET on MSNBC.

Ratigan was most recently anchor of “Morning Meeting” on MSNBC. Prior to joining MSNBC, Ratigan served as anchor and co-creator of CNBC's "Fast Money,"co-anchor of CNBC's "Closing Bell," and has also been a regular contributor to MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

Willie Geist

Willie GeistWillie Geist is host of msnbc’s “Way too Early with Willie Geist” and co-host of  "Morning Joe." Geist also hosts Zeitgeist, a satirical video blog on msnbc.com.

Geist joined msnbc in 2005 as a senior producer of "The Situation with Tucker Carlson." During the show’s development, producers decided Geist’s newsroom banter with Carlson ought to be part of the show. Geist spent the last segment of "The Situation" (later called "Tucker") reporting and offering his unique spin on the day’s news.

Mika Brzezinski

Mika BrzezinskiMika Brzezinski is a co-host of “Morning Joe” and an msnbc anchor.  Brzezinski also reports on “NBC Nightly News” and is an alternating news anchor for “Weekend Today.”

Prior to joining msnbc in January 2007, Brzezinski was an anchor of the “CBS Evening News Weekend Edition” and a CBS News correspondent who frequently contributed to “CBS Sunday Morning” and “60 Minutes.”  Brzezinski joined CBS News in 1997 as the anchor of “CBS News Up To The Minute,” but took a short hiatus in 2000 to co-host msnbc’s weekday afternoon program “Homepage.” In September 2001, she returned to CBS to become their principal “Ground Zero” reporter for the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.  Brzezinski began her journalism career in 1991 in Hartford, Connecticut, as a general assignment reporter at WTIC.  A year later she joined WFSB, also in Hartford, and quickly became the weekday morning anchor. 

Joe Scarborough

Joe ScarboroughFormer Congressman Joe Scarborough (R-Fla.) serves as host of “Morning Joe,” weekdays from 6-9 a.m. ET on msnbc.  “Morning Joe” features interviews with top newsmakers and politicians and in-depth analysis of the day’s biggest stories.

Previously, Scarborough hosted “Scarborough Country,” in primetime on msnbc.

Prior to the launch of “Scarborough Country” in April 2003, Scarborough was the publisher and editor of the award-winning newspaper “The Florida Sun.”
